Suffering comes in as many forms as people 

We have all gone through many trials

That tested our strength as we triumphed through travails

It’s the soldiers who keep their humanity

That transcend the human form

Becoming angels on earth 

Called to connect with other beings 

Guiding them out of the shadows, into the light

How much have you done for humanity during your brief time alive?

We are guided by love each and every day

Clear-headed and content, actions aligned with what we say

We are still embodied creatures

And thus may slip from the ground gained 

Each obstacle we face is a test of our commitment to divinity

We must face them with courage in order to keep our serenity

From this high vibrational state of love and kindness

Can we give our very best to those around us 

Through daily practice we serve ourselves

So that in turn we can uplift our loved ones
