Dearest readers,
Happy Saturday! So, bad news– cat is still out of the house being mischievous. I always leave food by the door overnight and when I woke up all of it was gone. Including the one I left inside the house, which is encouraging. The only problem is, there is another cat right next door named Batman, and I’m not sure if it was Batman who ate the food or Mojo. That’s the most pressing question right now, is whether Mojo is still around and eating the food, or if it’s been Batman this whole time. Batman also has black fur, although he has a fluffy coat whereas Mojo is sleek (and has a dick-shaped white mark on his chest), and when I saw the cat a couple nights ago, it was hard to tell in the dark whether it was Mojo or Batman. Anyway, the whole house reeks of cat food and I got a few hours to chillax before heading to dinner with my grandma. It’s her 90th birthday today! I got her a $50 red envelop pocket money for her birthday– it’s Chinese tradition to give people lucky money on holidays. Excited to see her, and I was just thinking, it was so sad that I didn’t get to see her over Christmas. It’s our annual tradition to open presents together as a family, and I missed that with gram. I don’t know if we’ll get the opportunity to do it next year… so sad. Here’s to manifesting that my grandma lives till 100 and gets to see at least one of us get married. That’s my dream.
I taught a great Yoga2Music class at Bay Club earlier, and it left me feeling much more relaxed about the cat situation. Whatever is meant to be, will be. Worst case scenario, Mojo is lost forever. But I can’t think this way. I still got one day before the owners return, so gotta keep looking. I hope that once the owners return, Mojo will be more inclined to come back home. He’s frightful of me, this scared little black tuxedo cat, so I think he’s been purposely staying away.
